Cancellation Policies
Food left over from cancellations will be donated to local charities:
  • For Customers:
    • Full refund for pre-shopping cancellations. The refund will be processed within 7 working days.
    • 35% refund after shopping, but before order preparation starts. The refund will be processed within 7 working days.
    • No refund once order preparation begins or when it's ready for pickup.

  • For Chefs:
    • If a chef cancels an order more than three times or fails to fulfill it, they will be charged for all transaction fees incurred, including VantaShala fees, upon the third failure.

Customers will receive updates on order progress throughout the order life cycle:
  • CONFIRMED - Chef confirms your order.
  • SHOPPING COMPLETED - Chef finishes shopping for ingredients.
  • IN PREPARATION - Chef begins working on your order.
  • PICKUP READY - Item is ready for pickup.
  • IN DELIVERY TRANSIT - Item is en route for delivery.
  • DELIVERED - Item has been delivered.
  • SHIPPED - Item has been shipped.
  • CANCELLED - Order has been cancelled.
